This nifty little gadget is cleverly designed to safely hold onto your important stuff while you’re out working (or playing) hard.
1. SCREW-GATE CARABINER
This little beauty is perfect for attaching to your hiking pack, raft, or wherever you want your stuff stuck. A screwgate saves the carabiner from opening without permission.

Features: Heavy Duty, Safety Lock.
A screw-gate is used for safety purposes.
2. STURDY NYLON WEBBING
Both 25mm and 38mm nylon webbing is used in the construction of the Hydrohük (while incredibly strong these are not rated for safety purposes.)
3. FOAM GRIP
The internal surface is composed of a soft yet grippy rubber foam. This will securely hold your bottle or whatever you choose to carry while not damaging it's finish.
4. CAM STRAP BUCKLE
The precision-cast stainless steel buckle is incredibly strong and durable. (Not rated for safety purposes.)

Fuelled by the frustration of seeing clients' drink bottles lost to the river, Irish (a keen raft guide and adventurer) took matters into his own hands. Because what's the point of having a reusable steel drink bottle if it's easily lost? Many prototypes later, the Hydrohük was born.

IT'S MY FIRST TIME, HOW DO I USE MY HYDROHÜK?
Instructions For Use
Press down on the spring-loaded cam-lever.
Insert end of strap through bottom of cam-buckle.
Position strap around vessel or object you want to secure.
Pull the strap through the cam-buckle until the desired length is achieved.
Tightening. Pull the free end of the strap to tighten it around the vessel or object.
Once the strap is tight, release the cam-lever to engage the cam-buckle.
Secured position. The strap should be tight, and the cam-buckle should hold the object securely in place.
Adjustment. Initially, there will be minimal stretch in the strap and the foam will compress around the object. Further tightening may be required.
For lightweight vessels, fold the carabiner against the side to increase stability.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY HYDROHÜK?
Though not recommended, the Hydrohük is dishwasher safe. This may cause the carabiner to tarnish so washing with a mild detergent in warm water is the preferred method for cleaning.
WHY DOES MY HYDROHÜK LOOSEN DURING THE FIRST USE?
Each Hydrohük is carefully made by hand right here in Queenstown with new materials. The materials are subject to some change when first used. The webbing will stretch very slightly as the individual fibres compress. The grippy foam rubber inside will also compress as the Hydrohük moulds itself to the shape of whatever you are carrying.
WHY USE A SCREW-GATE CARABINER?
Because the Hydrohük was initially designed to solve a rafting specific problem, the screwgate style was considered necessary. Snap-link or non-locking gates can open without permission (and present a serious entrapment hazard in whitewater situations.)
CAN YOU MAKE HYDROHÜKS WITH THE BRANDING AND COLOURS OF MY CHOICE?

CAN MY HYDROHÜK BE USED FOR CLIMBING?
Under no circumstances should the Hydrohük be used for anything other than its intended purpose. The carabiner, on its own, is certified for use in climbing. It can be easily separated from the Hydrohük if needed.
